Members of the Family 

Family is the basic unit of the society. Each family is composed of different members.

Each family member has its role. Let's take a look on the different roles within the family. 

This is the father. He is the head of the family. He works for the family and he also the one who fix all the broken things at home. 

This is Mother. She takes care of the family. She cooks meals. She do the household chores. 

                                  

                         
This is Brother. He helps the father in fixing broken things inside the house.

      This is Sister. She helps Mother in doing the   household chores.

                       

This is Baby. She brings joy to the family.

Other members of the family are Grandfather and Grandmother.

Objective

Students will examine their family in order to create a family tree.

Materials

• butcher paper
• drawing utensils
• pictures of each family members

Method

• Take a look on the teacher's presentation of her own family tree. 
• Talk to your parents and gather all the pictures of each family members. 
• Create a colorful tree using the butcher paper and drawing utensils. Be creative enough in doing this. 
• Arrange the pictures of each member inside the family tree. 
• Present your work in front of the class.

• Recognized each members of the family.
• Understand the different roles and responsibilities of each family members.
